Position Overview


The main responsibilities for this role include reviewing and compiling legal documents to support processing, managing the workflow of files, and ensuring that court deadlines are being met. If you have strong attention to detail, excellent time management and analytical skills, and are comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced environment, please read on and apply to be considered. This position will report directly to the Chief Growth and Partnership Officer.

Principle Responsibilities
  • Media Preparation for files in our legal network by organizing and combining various account-level documents.
  • Obtain Notary within 60 days
  • Review, assign and attest as an affiant or notary for legal documents.
  • Scanning and mailing of affidavits and discovery packets
  • Honesty and accuracy, including the understanding and responsibilities of affidavits.
  • Maintain NCB system of record with current Debt Management Company information
  • Other duties assigned by Acquisitions and Back Office


Principle Objectives and Expectations


A Legal Support Specialist provides essential administrative and clerical support to the legal network, ensuring the smooth operation of legal offices and effective case management. They manage case files, assist with research, and handle client communications. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of legal terminology and procedures.

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe
  • Proven critical thinking used to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Consistently provide mindfulness to ensure accuracy.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Consistently deliver high-quality customer service with a focus on building client relationships and achieving results
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
