Job Description:
At Regions, the Human Resources Technology Manager is responsible for a team of technology experts focused on the implementation and maintenance of Human Resources technology systems (e.g. Workday).
Primary Responsibilities
  • Processes human resources data using the most efficient and cost-effective computer systems and applications
  • Translates business needs into functional and technical requirements and implement solutions, coordinating related activities
  • Contributes to conversations related to system-wide functionality, business needs and requirements, alternative solutions, and process improvements with cross-functional subject matter experts
  • Acts as project leader for system implementations, upgrades, and changes
  • Communicates effectively with users to provide direction and time frames related to system implementations, upgrades, and changes
  • Performs analysis prior to systems implementations, upgrades, and changes and works with cross-functional subject matter experts to determine impact and next-steps for existing processes
  • Serves as a liaison between Regions and Workday for Human Resources technology
  • Provides notices to users related to Workday down-time, refreshes, and other issues
  • Monitors and researches issues and cases to ensure timely resolution, creating tickets with Workday support when necessary
  • Updates and maintains configurations in Workday and reviews integration error reports and conducts troubleshooting
  • Manages Human Resources system security (e.g. adding, changing, and deleting, user ID's, passwords, role based permissions)
  • Maintains organization foundation data in Workday including department and location data, position management, compensation administration data, and performance management data
  • Designs special reports by creating and modifying queries using the system's reporting utilities as requested and consults with subject matter experts
  • Ensures data integrity and system accuracy, designing system specifications and working with internal/external technical resources to ensure that systems are accessible, operational, and fully functional
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field and six (6) years of experience with enterprise human resources technology systems
  • Or High School Diploma and ten (10) years of experience with enterprise human resources technology systems
  • Three (3) years of supervisory/management experience

Preferences
  • Experience with Workday human resources technology systems
  • Experience in financial services

Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to learn additional systems as needed
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills

Additional Preferences
• Led Learning Management System (LMS) implementations, including system configuration, deployment, and optimization.
• Extensive experience managing and administering enterprise learning platforms such as Cornerstone OnDemand and SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
• Served as the technology lead for the Learning Center of Excellence (COE), overseeing learning technology strategy, system enhancements, integrations, and operational support.
• Partnered with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and maintain learning technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Managed LMS governance, vendor relationships, reporting, analytics, and user experience improvements to drive learning effectiveness.
• Provided strategic leadership for all learning technology needs, ensuring scalability, compliance, and continuous improvement of learning systems.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Incentive Pay Plans:
