Superior Rigging & Erecting is making a significant investment in leadership development, workforce capability, and organizational learning. As part of that investment, we are building SRE University-our enterprise learning ecosystem designed to support employees from onboarding through leadership development and technical mastery.
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Organizational Development Manager to lead this initiative. This position serves as the organization's learning and organizational development leader, partnering closely with executive leadership, operations, safety, engineering, project management, and field leadership to strengthen organizational capability across Superior Rigging & Erecting and Heaton Erecting.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and continuously improving learning solutions that support business performance, leadership effectiveness, workforce development, and long-term organizational growth.

Position Overview
This is a fully in-office position based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Success in this role requires visibility throughout the organization. The Learning & Organizational Development Manager will regularly partner with executive leadership, department managers, engineers, safety professionals, project managers, superintendents, foremen, and field employees to understand how work is performed before developing learning solutions. Regular travel between our Atlanta headquarters, Orlando operations, Heaton Erecting, and active project sites is expected.
Our subject matter experts provide the technical expertise. Your responsibility is to transform that expertise into consistent, engaging, and scalable learning experiences that improve performance across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Organizational Development
  • Develop and execute the company's learning and organizational development strategy.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify organizational capability needs.
  • Design leadership development programs that strengthen supervisors, managers, and future leaders.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives.

Workforce Development
  • Lead the development of SRE University.
  • Design structured onboarding and technical learning pathways.
  • Standardize learning across Superior Rigging & Erecting and Heaton Erecting.
  • Capture and preserve institutional knowledge from experienced employees.

Learning Design & Delivery
  • Conduct learning needs assessments through direct observation and collaboration with operational leaders.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop instructor-led, digital, video, and blended learning solutions.
  • Facilitate learning programs and coach operational leaders to become effective instructors.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on measurable business outcomes.

Learning Systems
  • Administer and enhance the Learning Management System.
  • Maintain training records and certification documentation.
  • Develop metrics that measure learning effectiveness, adoption, and organizational impact.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Learning & Development and/or Organizational Development experience.
  • Demonstrated success building enterprise learning programs from concept through implementation.
  • Experience partnering directly with executive and operational leadership.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
  • Experience developing and managing a Learning Management System.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between company locations and project sites.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting construction, industrial services, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, heavy equipment, utilities, or related industries.
  • Experience building leadership development programs.
  • Experience creating technical workforce development programs.
  • Organizational Development or Talent Development certifications.
