Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Trains and coaches new team members in systems, job functions, policies, procedures, compliance and objectives of the credit union.
• Participate in assigned projects and responsible for project activities, including monitoring timelines, details, milestones and deliverables. Communicates project status and outcomes to department leadership.
• Delivers skills-based learning objectives for all courses, seminars and workshops, using adult learning principles and applying the best delivery format for the learners.
• Develops basic technical and conceptual instructional materials, including facilitator and participant guides, course content (role play activities and scenarios) and pre- and post-assessments for blending learning solutions.
• Partners with leadership to ensure training documentation and processes are aligned and delivered to meet expectations of business stakeholders. Participates in content development and training delivery design for courses and programs as needed.
• May provide best practices and learning methodologies for coaching SME facilitators who perform on-the-job skills training most effectively.
• Assist in providing additional feedback and suggestions on what training may be missing or needed to effectively onboard and retain new team members.
• May observe and coach team members as deemed appropriate based on post-training observations.
• Provides administrative duties supporting the use of the LMS and other learning systems. This may include, but not limited to, compliance training oversight.
• Produces and delivers timely communication to inform learners and management of needs to support learning objectives and training reinforcement efforts.
• Provide exceptional service to our internal partners and team members.
• Stay current on learning and development practices and continually develop personal training skills and capabilities
