Job Summary:
Alpha Consulting Corp. is seeking an Integration Systems Administrator with expertise in administering middleware tools and J2EE application servers. The role involves maintaining integration platforms, supporting Meter Data Management systems, and collaborating with teams to enhance system functionality and ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain enterprise integration platforms, including IBM MQ, IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), MuleSoft, Active MQ, Kafka, and J2EE application servers such as IBM WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
• Support and maintain the EnergyIP Meter Data Management system, ensuring system reliability and optimal performance.
• Manage and monitor integration servers and middleware tools to ensure 24x7x365 availability and performance.
• Implement, configure, and optimize high-availability and disaster recovery configurations for middleware platforms.
• Perform patching and upgrading of integration systems, middleware tools, and application servers in compliance with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Provide second-level support for troubleshooting and resolving system performance issues, including root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with integration developers to deploy APIs, services, and workflows on middleware platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and support IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) integration flows, message transformations, and service integrations as needed to support enterprise integration initiatives.
• Perform minor to moderate development enhancements and troubleshooting within IBM ACE environments, including updates to message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and integration services.

• Maintain system security by managing passwords, file permissions, and network access.
• Regularly review system performance metrics and alerts to proactively identify potential issues.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Shell, Perl, DataWeave, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience installing and managing middleware tools in high-availability configurations.
• Strong understanding of system security principles, including SSH, file permissions, and security packages.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Information Systems or related field from an accredited university.
• IBM ACE certification.
