POSITION: Learning Management Systems Administrator

LOCATION: Jupiter, FL

STATUS: Salary Exempt


JOB SUMMARY

The Learning Systems Administrator is the primary subject matter expert and technical owner for the Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) Learning and Performance Management System. This critical role ensures stability, integrity, and optimal functionality of the platform, directly supporting organizational goals related to safety, compliance, employee development, retention, and performance management. This role serves as the technical bridge between Human Resources (HR), Learning & Development (L&D), Information Technology (IT), and end-users, transforming organizational needs into scalable system solutions. The position reports to the L&D Manager and serves as a key member of the Human Resources Team.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administer, configure, manage content, conduct analytics, and maintain Cornerstone.
  • Ensure system stability, implementation, and security (manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for system users).
  • Serve as primary point of contact to Learning & Development Manager and Cornerstone users for technical support, performance, testing, troubleshooting, and system guidance.
  • Manage data integrations between Cornerstone OnDemand, other systems and dashboards in partnership with HRIS and IT.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive learning dashboards using tools like Amazon Quick Sight and Power BI to provide actionable insights into learning progress, compliance, and effectiveness for users and managers.
  • Oversee and maintain optimal function of Cornerstone, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade of applications and modules.
  • Demonstrate a proven technical understanding for Cornerstone end-to-end, from integrations to core configuration to advanced learning administration.
  • Own the validation process for any Cornerstone activities (quarterly releases, implementation of new features, communication, and system-related training of changes, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance training requirements are tracked in Cornerstone while maintaining and optimizing the LMS platform to support development, engagement, retention, and growth opportunities for users.
  • Create and maintain company-level and department-specific Cornerstone reports (Standard and Reporting 2.0), learning objects (curricula, certificates, materials, tests, ILTs, events, sessions), learning assignments, dashboards, playlists, user records, and metrics.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets related to the learning ecosystem (LMS, content, reporting) using ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and adherence to defined service level agreements.
  • Document all processes and create quick reference guides for users.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and trends in learning technology to identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to implement enhancements, updates, and new features of Cornerstone that align with organizational goals.
  • Serve as lead representative and liaison between EHS, HR, IT, external vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders for system design and implementation projects.
  • Ensure Cornerstone complies with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of user data within the system.
  • Support HR users with design and implementation of Performance and Compensation Tasks including Goal Setting, Development Planning, Performance Reviews, Bonus and Salary Review Calculation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

  • Associate degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Cornerstone OnDemand Certification – Core CSX Specialist and Learning CSX Specialist.
  • Cornerstone OnDemand Certification – Learning CSX Expert, preferred.
  • Expert Reporting 2.0 skills including Calculated Fields, Report Sharing and Delivery Scheduling.
  • Experience using cloud tools and system connections (APIs) to integrate learning platforms with HR and business systems, including tools like Cornerstone Edge and similar LMS features.


Skills/Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cornerstone OnDemand systems administrator.
  • 5+ years of experience with troubleshooting technical issues and integrating new technologies and features within an LMS.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience with Amazon Quick Sight and/or Power BI
  • Experience with ServiceNow
  • Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning standards.
  • Excellent technical support skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsive and results driven.
  • Strong project management skills for LMS-related initiatives.
  • Skilled at communicating technical information in terms understandable to non-technical end-users.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
