The Role

The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of development programs within Red & Blue University (RBU), Suffolk’s suite of training and career development offerings. This role ensures all first-year learning offerings are delivered with consistency, quality, and alignment to RBU priorities.

This role will be focused on program delivery, coordination, and creating high-quality participant experience.

The Program Manager will be required to be on-site in our vibrant Boston office four days a week, where they can take advantage of free parking, an on-site gym, a cafeteria, and other perks that contribute to a welcoming culture and distinctive workplace environment!   


Program Delivery 

  • Execute and operationalize development programs within Red & Blue University  
  • Help facilitate a range of RBU programs such as New Hire Orientation, We Are Suffolk, New Manager Onboarding, and New Leader Assimilation 
  • Partner with subject matter experts who deliver program content, ensuring they are prepared, supported, and set up for successful delivery  
  • Reinforce Suffolk’s culture of learning by delivering programs with strong attention to detail and participant experience  
  • Proactively identify risks, trends, and constraints, recommending adjustments to improve program effectiveness 

Program Coordination 

  • Own key execution elements, including multi-program scheduling, facilitator and senior leader logistics, and high-visibility communications  
  • Partner with the RBU’s Learning Operations team to align execution plans with broader timelines, dependencies, and priorities  
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and program support resources to ensure materials, calendars, and communications are accurate and aligned  
  • Review participant-facing materials and tracking tools to ensure clarity, consistency, and professionalism  
  • Serve as a key operational lead during program delivery, managing schedules, materials, logistics, and real-time issue resolution  

Program Measurement and Continuous Improvement 

  • Track participation, completion, and feedback to support execution-level reporting and program evaluation  
  • Help prepare clear summaries and operational insights to inform retrospectives and continuous improvement efforts  
  • Identify and recommend improvements that enhance scalability, consistency, and participant experience  

  • 4+ years of experience in learning & development, talent management, human resources, or a related field  
  • Experience executing development programs within a structured learning framework, academy, or enterprise learning environment  
  • Strong facilitation skills; experience delivering training to all levels of leadership
  • Strong program coordination and operational execution skills, including managing timelines, logistics, and stakeholder communications  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting timelines effectively  
  • Working knowledge of adult learning principles and program delivery models (instructional design expertise not required) 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with comfort using trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools. Familiarity with Asana and Learning Management Systems a plus

The expected salary range for this position (Program Manager, Learning & Development) in US-MA-Boston is between $100,000 and $128,000 USD.  This represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Suffolk’s total compensation package.  Actual salaries may be based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, education and other qualifications.  Suffolk offers a comprehensive benefits package as part of its overall compensation strategy.  Salary ranges may differ by geography and are reviewed regularly to reflect market trends.
