Job description

Overview

The interns will support the Learning & Organization Development team, which focuses on executive leadership development, as well as team and organizational effectiveness. We are hiring two interns that will support across both areas, with one having a primary focus on program management and the other having a primary focus on organizational development.


The Learning & Talent Development division is an enterprise-wide strategic learning team serving all employees by providing high-impact development opportunities to support leaders, departments and the organization.


The interns will collaborate with teams across Learning & Talent Development and throughout the enterprise to support crucial logistics and administrative needs, and provide learner cohort support. They will need to have experience participating in project teams that required them to effectively manage priorities, collaborate with diverse groups, ensure timeline adherence and leverage Agile to accomplish shared goals. Effective communication, a growth mindset and a solutions-minded approach are a must for this role. They will also need to have demonstrated proficiency leveraging technology and a willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

* Provide support to assigned division; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
* Leverage technologies and aligned systems to support division functions, for example maintaining the room reservation coordination system for the division
* Collaborate with facilitators to provide individual learner and cohort support
* Propose creative approaches for process improvements within assigned areas and across collaborative groups to increase effectiveness, enhance organizational systems and support both division and enterprise-wide audiences
* Support the coordination of multiple projects to ensure timely completion of action items and appropriate connection of like-opportunities
* Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
* Assist and collaborate with various levels of employees to accomplish tasks/assignments
* Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing customer service and employee experience as priority
* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
* Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across project coordination, documentation, and team operations
* Clear written communication skills, including experience creating or updating materials such as job aids, meeting notes, resource content, or process documentation, with an audience of Executive Leadership
* Comfort working across teams and responding to feedback while supporting tools, gathering and analyzing data, reporting, and shared resources such as SharePoint, internal pages, or administrative workflows
* Exemplary interpersonal and verbal communication skills
* Effective research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Effective skill in maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
* Ability to exercise initiative and good judgment to make sound decisions
* Ability to approach opportunities with creative and innovative solutions
* Can take on multiple projects and manage varied priorities
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Desired Qualifications:
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and other database/spreadsheet software programs
* Familiarity with project management

Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule)
