Job description

HR Executive Consultant, Bilingual

ADP, a global leader in human resources technology, is seeking a seasoned HR executive consultant to strengthen client relationships, develop and execute HR strategies, and drive business results. The role will manage strategic relationships with C‑level client contacts, advise on HR best practices, and influence current and future human‑capital needs.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a thought leader for the HR space and business development aspect of the organization.
  • Provide executive‑level strategic HR consultation and advice to an assigned portfolio of clients as part of a team of HR professionals focused on driving business results.
  • Understand the business vision, values, strategy and drivers, and create productive partnerships to deliver sustainable HR solutions.
  • Work with sales partners, relationship managers and operations partners to develop, deliver and execute on the HR outsourcing value proposition.
  • Act as an escalation point for clients and adopt a proactive, consultative approach leveraging every client touchpoint as an opportunity to create value by not only providing HR best‑practice information but also identifying and sharing information on HR solutions products, features and capabilities that can help address the client’s immediate HR needs as well as strategically support long‑term needs.
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures to minimize risk and liability to the company, and be able to transition between a wide variety of HR competencies quickly and proficiently.
  • Collaborate with clients on enhancing and optimizing HR best practices to address specific HR challenges, improve HR processes, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in assigned HR projects to increase HR knowledge and experience, including in‑depth HR research, development of HR training, development of product enhancements, and working with multiple levels of the HR solutions team to assist in resolving multiple complex HR issues for clients.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions on products, issues, processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Develop HR related content and facilitate webinars to large groups of current and prospective clients.
  • Serve as Team Lead, with the ability to allocate work.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in HR, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree an asset.
  • Human Resources designation: CHRP, CHRL, CPHR or equivalent experience required.
  • 8+ years in senior level HR professional or HR consulting roles within a large global organization.
  • In‑depth knowledge and experience building HR strategies and roadmaps, including Compensation, Talent, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Learning and Development.
  • English/French bilingualism is mandatory.

Quebec candidates: While French is required for Quebec-based roles, use of English is also required due to the global nature of the business and need to interact with headquarters and international sites.

  • Strong business acumen to align both business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value.
  • Experience influencing, engaging and collaborating with C‑suite/executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to evaluate options and develop recommendations for solutions to complex and multi‑dimensional issues.
  • Familiar with development and application of change management methodologies to ensure successful implementation of HR strategies.
  • Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Developed consulting capabilities.
  • Skillful in resolving conflicts quickly and with win‑win solutions/outcomes.
  • Solid negotiation and influencing abilities, coupled with strong project management skills.
  • Adept at building and managing relationships effectively and quickly gaining confidence of business leaders.
  • Tenacity, resourceful, flexible and adaptable.
  • Sound technical knowledge and experience as an HR leader with proven track record of developing and delivering value‑added HR solutions.
  • Bilingual French/English required.
Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $86,000 to $137,300 per year, depending on location, skills and experience. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity or commissions.
