Job description

Are you passionate about designing engaging learning experiences that help people master complex software platforms? Do you enjoy transforming technical concepts into clear, accessible training content that drives customer and employee success? Are you excited to collaborate with product experts, leverage AI-powered tools, and grow your instructional design skills in a mentorship-oriented environment? If so, we invite you to be a part of our innovative team.
As a Content Developer on the Education Services team at Ridgeline, you will help build scalable learning programs that empower customers, partners, and employees to succeed on our platform. Working closely with Product, Customer Experience, and subject matter experts, you will create impactful educational content that simplifies complex workflows and accelerates adoption. You'll leverage modern learning technologies and AI-powered tools-including Glean, ChatGPT, 360Learning, Scribe, and Camtasia-to increase content quality, efficiency, and scale while developing expertise in both instructional design and investment management technology.
At Ridgeline, how we work matters as much as what we build. Ridgeliners act like owners, choose growth over comfort, and communicate with transparency. We assume positive intent, bias toward action, and bring solutions-not just problems. We celebrate wins, learn from setbacks, and thrive in a resilient, collaborative, high-performing culture. If this excites you, we'd love to meet you!
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
This role is based in our San Ramon, CA office and follows a hybrid work model, with team members expected to work onsite at least three days per week to foster collaboration, innovation, and connection across teams.
The impact you will have
  • Develop and maintain learning assets including videos, guides, slide decks, eLearning courses, and microlearning content that support scalable education for employees, partners, and customers
  • Execute content plans and instructional designs created by senior team members and subject matter experts, transforming design briefs into polished, on-brand learning experiences
  • Maintain assigned content within learning management systems and content repositories, ensuring training materials remain accurate, current, and effective
  • Analyze learner feedback and training metrics to continuously improve content clarity, engagement, and overall learning outcomes
  • Manage multiple content development projects simultaneously while communicating timelines, incorporating feedback, and delivering high-quality work
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and modern content creation platforms to increase content throughput while maintaining instructional quality and integrity
  • Champion inclusive and accessible learning experiences that support diverse learners across roles, locations, and experience levels
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders while contributing to a culture rooted in learning, teaching, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Travel domestically up to 10% for internal team gatherings and company events

What we look for
  • 1-3 years of experience in education, training, or learning-focused roles such as Instructional Designer, Learning Experience Designer, Training Content Developer, or eLearning Developer
  • Understanding of instructional design fundamentals, including learning objectives, content sequencing, practice activities, and assessments
  • Strong writing, editing, and information design skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts in simple, actionable language
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive learning design principles
  • Experience using content creation and learning technologies such as Camtasia, Scribe, Pendo, Navattic, and learning management systems, ideally 360Learning
  • Comfort using AI tools such as Glean, ChatGPT, and AI-enabled learning platforms as collaborative content development partners
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in the investment management domain
  • An aptitude for problem solving
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Serious interest in having fun at work

Bonus
  • Experience in fintech, investment management, or B2B enterprise SaaS customer and partner education
  • Portfolio or work samples demonstrating instructional content such as videos, presentations, guides, instructor-led training, or eLearning experiences
  • Experience measuring learning effectiveness through learner feedback, engagement metrics, and performance outcomes
