Cohort Learning Manager Job Description: HITT Contracting is seeking a Cohort Learning Manager to lead the strategy, design, facilitation, and continuous improvement of cohort-based learning programs across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Learning & Development, this role will oversee HITT's cohort learning portfolio while leading and developing a team of two Learning & Development professionals. The ideal candidate is an experienced learning leader with a strong background in facilitation, instructional design, and program management, as well as experience in or familiarity with Learning & Development within the construction industry or a similar operational environment. This individual is passionate about creating engaging, learner-centered experiences that accelerate employee growth, strengthen leadership capability, and drive business performance. This position is based at HITT Contracting's headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia. This position is expected to work on-site four days per week. Responsibilities Program Strategy & Learning Experience Design Own the strategy, design, execution, and continuous improvement of HITT's cohort learning programs. Partner with business leaders, Human Resources, and subject matter experts to identify capability gaps and recommend learning solutions aligned with organizational priorities. Design learner-centered experiences that incorporate adult learning principles, experiential activities, peer learning, reflection, coaching, and practical application. Evaluate emerging learning trends, technologies, and AI-enabled tools to enhance learning design, learner engagement, and program effectiveness. Facilitation & Learning Experience Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual cohort sessions, leadership programs, team-building activities, and collaborative discussions. Foster an inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, psychological safety, and meaningful dialogue. Coach internal facilitators and subject matter experts to ensure consistent, high-quality learning experiences across all programs. Program Management Manage multiple cohort programs simultaneously, ensuring successful planning, execution, communication, and participant experience. Manage program budgets, vendor relationships, and external learning partners. Maintain project plans, timelines, communications, and program documentation. Lead, coach, and develop a team of two Learning & Development professionals, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture. Establish team priorities, allocate work, and ensure successful execution of learning initiatives. Measurement & Continuous Improvement Define and monitor success metrics for cohort learning programs. Collect and analyze participant feedback, assessments, and program outcomes to evaluate effectiveness. Prepare summaries, insights, and recommendations for senior leadership. Continuously improve curriculum, facilitation methods, and learner experiences based on data, participant feedback, and business needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Five or more years of experience designing and facilitating leadership or professional development programs in a corporate environment. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and scaling cohort-based or enterprise learning programs. Experience leading and developing teams through coaching, performance management, and professional development. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and experiential learning. Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to engage audiences at all organizational levels. Proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders across functions. Strong project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience measuring learning effectiveness and using data to improve program outcomes. Experience managing learning budgets and external vendor relationships. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as learning management systems and virtual learning platforms. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and continuously evolving environment. In accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 Compensation in other cities and states may vary.
