Responsibilities

As our Sr. Manager, Talent Development, you will serve as a learning practitioner by consulting with partners, designing impactful solutions, and facilitating learning that builds capability across CSUSA. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role that spans school-based and corporate teams alike.

Consult & Partner

  • Serve as an internal learning consultant to cross-functional partners in Finance, IT, HR, Procurement, Marketing, and school-based teams by diagnosing needs and recommending the right solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, department leaders, and vendors to build solutions aligned to organizational priorities.
  • Partner with HRIS and system owners on platform needs and integrations.

Facilitate & Deliver

  • Facilitate workshops, onboarding sessions, leadership programs, and cohort-based learning for diverse audiences, from entry-level staff to director-level professionals, across both school and corporate teams.
  • Lead cohorts and build internal facilitation capacity across the organization.

Manage & Improve

  • Support the continuous improvement of existing learning programs, content libraries, and professional learning calendars.
  • Support key talent processes including, Onboarding, Talent Review, and performance management cycles.
  • Support LMS content, support course configuration and testing, and troubleshoot learning implementation in partnership with system owners.

Design & Develop

  • Design blended learning experiences, eLearning modules, microlearning, job aids, toolkits, and video-based resources using ADDIE and adult learning best practices.
  • Support curriculum, leadership development programs, and professional learning sequences that are scalable and engaging.
  • Use authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Canva, and video tools such as Camtasia, to produce polished, high-quality learning content.

Evaluate & Measure

  • Apply evaluation strategies to assess learning impact and produce analytics reports that inform decision-making.
  • Use data and feedback to iterate rapidly and improve learning solutions.

Requirements

  • Deep L&D expertise-- proven experience across needs analysis, instructional design, facilitation, and program evaluation.
  • Facilitation presence-- confident, engaging delivery with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Consulting mindset-- you ask great questions, listen deeply, and turn ambiguous needs into clear solutions.
  • Project management skills-- able to juggle multiple initiatives, manage timelines, and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
  • Data literacy-- comfortable analyzing learning data and connecting outcomes to organizational impact.
  • Tech savvy-- experienced with LMS platforms, Articulate 360 (or similar), Canva, Camtasia, and Microsoft suite.
  • Collaborative spirit-- a true team player who builds relationships across departments and levels.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent development, learning and development, or organizational development.
  • Demonstrated experience designing blended learning and facilitating adult learning in both in-person and virtual environments.
  • Experience with LMS administration, course authoring tools, and learning analytics.
  • A genuine interest in education and contributing to a mission-driven organization.
