The Digital & Technical Learning Business Partner supports digital adoption and technical learning initiatives across DNOW. Working with business teams, Organizational Development, and IT, this role helps drive employee adoption of systems, tools, and processes through scalable learning solutions. The position combines facilitation, learning support, and operational coordination to improve user adoption, process consistency, and business performance, reporting to the Digital & Technical Learning Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, IT teams, and Organizational Development to support digital adoption and technical learning initiatives.
  • Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of digital adoption and technical learning content across enterprise systems such as OMS+, Salesforce, and other technologies.
  • Build and maintain in-system learning assets including walkthroughs, smart tips, launchers, and knowledge resources that support users in the flow of work.
  • Assist with the design, facilitation, and delivery of technical, systems, and process training programs that support onboarding, upskilling, and user adoption.
  • Facilitate or support training sessions, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and working sessions related to systems, processes, and digital adoption initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple learning and enablement initiatives simultaneously while supporting project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder needs.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts by validating workflows, documenting changes, identifying training impacts, and creating supporting learning materials.
  • Translate technical processes and system functionality into clear, practical, and user-friendly learning experiences and documentation.
  • Help identify process gaps, training opportunities, and user adoption challenges through feedback, collaboration, and system usage insights.
  • Support communication and change management efforts related to system enhancements, process updates, and training initiatives.
  • Monitor adoption metrics and learning effectiveness data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project execution and learning delivery.
  • Remain actively engaged in understanding business operations, workflows, and system processes to improve learning effectiveness and user support.
  • Support broader Organizational Development and Learning initiatives as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in business systems support, technical training, process improvement, operations support, learning support, or related areas preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital adoption tools (e.g., WalkMe), LMS platforms, system support, or end-user enablement concepts is a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex systems and translate information into practical, user-friendly guidance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with learning technologies and documentation tools preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

This position is based in Houston, Texas. Remote/virtual candidates will be considered; however, preference will be given to candidates located in the Houston area.
