What you'll do

As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will take ownership of the daytoday maintenance operations while working handson alongside a small team of technicians. You will ensure equipment, tools, and systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with cGMPs and Global Quality Standards. You will lead daily work planning, scheduling, and task prioritization, audit completed work for quality, and coach team members to support performance and development. As the first point of escalation for urgent or complex maintenance issues, you will act decisively to minimize downtime and protect both people and production. You'll collaborate closely with Plant, Production, Supply Chain, and Supervisory partners, continuously improving processes and reinforcing Nutreco's Own It culture of accountability, safety, and ownership.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a handson maintenance professional with 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience who is ready to step into a lead role and guide a small team by example. You bring strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and are comfortable troubleshooting independently while supporting others. You take ownership seriously, communicate clearly, and prioritize safety and quality in every decision. If you thrive in a fastpaced manufacturing environment, enjoy developing others, and demonstrate curiosity, responsibility, and integrity in your work, you'll succeed as a Lead Maintenance Technician at Trouw Nutrition.

You'll also need:

  • Strong handson experience with industrial maintenance, including pumps, valves, piping, hydraulics, and mechanical and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, with experience leading or mentoring a small team
  • Proven ability to plan work, coordinate schedules, and support daily maintenance operations
  • Safetyfirst, qualitydriven mindset with working knowledge of cGMPs, Global Quality Standards, and safe work practices
