Job description

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

  • 3RD SHIFT: 10:30pm - 7am

We are working with a leading Automotive Components Manufacturer who is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team on 2nd or 3rd shift. These are full-time, permanent positions offering excellent long-term career potential, competitive salary, and a full benefits package.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Install and connect power supply wiring, conduit, and cables for equipment such as robots, presses, and PLCs
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues including motors, controls, lighting, and circuit boards
  • Replace bearings, rewire motors, and test/verify repairs on robotic and automated systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated maintenance issues from junior technicians
  • Read schematics and maintenance manuals to perform repairs and installations
  • Train and mentor less experienced technicians as needed
  • Maintain accurate communication with supervisors and team leaders
  • Stay current with new technologies and continuously develop technical skillset

Qualifications & Experience required:

  • One-year certificate from technical college or equivalent training/experience
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance, ideally within manufacturing
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, manuals, and safety rules
  • Preferred experience in both mechanical and electrical systems
  • Licenses to operate lifts or powered industrial equipment a plus
