Job description

We are currently seeking a motivated and relationship focused Sales Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team, working with business development and marketing to increase customer base and drive company revenue of our proprietary tactical products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our proprietary products, customers and partners.
  • Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
  • Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
  • Build a culture of urgency, accountability, integrity, and customer service
  • Work with Business Development to create and implement sales strategies that align with organizational objectives. Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjust strategies as needed, and report results to leadership.
  • Work in close partnership with Marketing to maximize lead generation, lead conversion, and profitability
  • Ensure the sales team effectively utilizes existing business systems and processes.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to empower team members to achieve their goals.
  • Address deficiencies by developing customized coaching plans, tracking progress, and recording improvement against them.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve sales operations and drive efficiencies.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and teamwork within the sales team.
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
  • Report on team and individual performance

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, and related fields
  • Experience as a supervisor or manager
  • Experience with international sales and customers
  • Experience with military and law enforcement sales and customers
  • Experience with NetSuite CRM or equivalent
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
