Job description

Black Rain Ordnance is currently seeking a Director of Law Enforcement Sales. Black Rain Ordnance, Inc. is a precision ?rearms manufacturer specializing in the modern sporting rifle design. Founded in 2009 with a benchmark to only manufacture weapons we would personally be proud to own and operate. We have sought out the best machinists to turn our ideas into reality with a goal of creating something any gun enthusiast would be proud to not only own but to put on display as well. We strive to use only American metal so that each of our products is truly an authentic American creation.

This position will be responsible for leading and supporting the sale of weapons and accessories to Law Enforcement Agencies across the United States. This will involve meeting the needs of current customers and actively seeking new business relationships within the law enforcement segment of the firearms industry. This will include the development of sales strategies, pricing proposals, marketing and point of sale recommendations, and vendor agreements. Must be organized and be able to multi-task and prioritize work to achieve the best overall results for the company’s continued growth. Must be able to expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively. Experience in Law Enforcement either as a commissioned officer or prior Law Enforcement sales experience preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and interpret customer requirements: speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Ability to identify and resolve client concerns, recommending a course of action to alleviate these concerns in the future
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Availability to travel as required
  • Must have strong working knowledge of weapon platforms and their operation
