The firm is ranked in the First Tier nationally for Labor and Employment Litigation and recognized by U.S. News Best Lawyers for Excellence in Employment and Labor Law.

Position Location

Dallas, TX

Responsibilities
  • Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board
  • Research and write on management labor relations matters
  • Represent management in NLRB elections
  • Provide legal advice regarding union organizing, corporate campaigns, card check, and neutrality agreements
  • Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements
  • Handle grievance and arbitration proceedings
  • Obtain mass picketing injunctions
  • Advise on protected concerted activity and other NLRA issues
  • Provide management training on labor relations
  • Counsel management in union work-stop situations
  • Occasionally advise clients on California workplace laws and other assignments as needed
Qualifications
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Minimum 3 years of traditional labor law experience with a focus on management labor relations in Texas
  • Admission to the Texas Bar
  • Strong understanding of current agency enforcement techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and project-management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required
  • Occasional business travel may be required
