Lab Assistant for Biology Program student employment opportunity available.
Principal Responsibilities
- Work with various faculty in the department.
- Duties include:
- lab set up and making reagents, working with slides and microscopes, working with
specimens for dissections and working with live specimens.
- lab teardown and cleanup - putting supplies away, cleaning dishes and cleaning the
room.
Organizing lab manuals
- Organize, restock, and maintain lab supplies
- Maintain materials such as preserved specimens, living plants and/or animals
- Assist with other lab and non-lab activities for the Biology Department.
- Follow department policies and procedures
- Come to work as scheduled by supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
