Shift Details: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, 4x10-Hour (07:30 - 17:30)

Job Description: 4x10 or 3x12 shift is available call (once weekly (1730-0700) and every 4th weekend (0700 Sat-0700 Mon). Also potential for one holiday on call (24hrs). Must have cardiac cath lab experience > 1 yr. Prefer they have EP (electrophysiology) experience, EPIC, and MacLab. 2 labs of EP (pacemaker devices, ablations, ICD insertions) and 5 cath labs. Tend to see approximately 20 patients a day between all labs. Itโ€™s a fast paced, high acuity Cath lab. We do structural heart procedures also (Watchmanโ€™s, TAVR, Mitraclips). It is a level 3 Cath lab.

General Responsibilities: Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. Provides peri-procedural care and education for patients. Assists cardiologists and other specialists performing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintains records and documentation for procedures.

EKG/Dysrhythmia exam must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract. EKG/Dysrhythmia exam is required for ALL RN units except the following: Antepartum, Behavioral Health, Family Birth Center, Inpatient Rehab, Interventional Radiology, IV Therapy, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Nuclear Cardio & Stress, Nursery, Nursing Administration, Postpartum. Managers review applications only- all schedule requests, start date and RTO need to be on the front page of the application (not just in the sub email) at time of submittal. No RTO or requests will be negotiated after offer. No more than 14 days of RTO are allowed, even if willing to add to the end of the contract. References are not required Local Radius: Nursing: 50 miles Radiology: 30 miles Local Rule: Nursing: not accepted Radiology: accepted at same rate Any state RN license ok, can apply for temp license on offer takes 5-10 days, compact license now accepted Facility does not accept any past license action Modules: Up to 24 hours are billable. 18 - 24 average hours of modules.
