Job description

We have a unique opportunity for a trained Cosmetologist (or someone with prior experience in personal services and some lab exposure such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Dental Assistant, Pharmacy Tech, Vet Tech, etc.) to work in a R&D Salon/Lab in Mason, Ohio. This Salon Technician will be supporting a busy onsite hair and scalp testing lab that specializes in development and improvement of hair care products. There is no cutting, coloring, or styling of hair involved. The Salon Lab Tech will wash, rinse, and perform residue testing on hair and scalp. In addition, he/she will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for panelists and adhering to good lab practices (GLPs). This is a long term (no end date) full-time contract position working onsite at a large consumer products company.


  • Pay: $18.50 with an increase to $19.50 after 90 days and the completion of training.
  • Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm & Friday 6:30am-12:00pm
  • Location: Mason, OH
