Purpose of Role: The Key Account Manager is responsible for sales and aftermarket support the states of Wyoming, Southern Idaho and Western Colorado. This multifaceted leadership role oversees strategic account management, and technical product enablement within the mining industry. This position also requires deep sector knowledge, commercial acumen, and hands-on expertise to drive performance across client relationships, team capabilities, and product adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: This job requires travel and visits to mining sites which require focus on safety. Each individual must take the Mining Safety Hazard Training (MSHA) in order to visit and enter the operations. Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

  • Relationships: Manage and grow relationships with high-value mining clients.

  • Account Focus: Develop and execute account strategies aligned with client production goals and operational needs.

  • Negotiation Skills: Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term partnership planning.

  • Organization Skills: Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for growth and retention.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in mining industry sales, product support, and team leadership.

  • Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and safety standards.

  • Proven success in strategic account management and team development.

  • Skilled in CRM platforms, sales analytics, and training tools.

  • Comfortable working in remote mining environments and engaging with cross-functional team.
