Overview:

We are looking a Junior Account Executive to join our Mint NYC Showroom team who will support the growth and management of our wholesale business across a portfolio of contemporary brands. This role will partner with the broader sales teal to drive account growth, build strong client relationships, build strong client relationships, support market appointments, and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Wholesale Sales & Account Management

  • Support the management and growth of existing wholesale accounts across assigned territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with specialty stores and retail partners.
  • Identify and open new business opportunities through outreach, market appointments, and territory development.
  • Conduct regular account follow-up to drive reorders and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Analyze weekly sales performance, sell-through reporting, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Execute seasonal strategies and achieve revenue goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop strategic plans to increase sales and expand brand distribution.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Director and Account Managers on key initiatives and account strategies

Market & Trade Show Support

  • Schedule and attend showroom appointments during market, both in person and virtual
  • Attend and represent brands at trade shows and industry events
  • Travel throughout assigned territories to visit accounts and develop new business opportunities

Showroom Operations

  • Manage sample trafficking and organization for photoshoots, press requests, market appointments, and collection presentation.
  • Assist with seasonal market preparation, line sheets, reporting, and sales presentations
  • Ensure showroom samples and collections are organized, merchandised, and presentation ready.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to interns and junior team members.
  • Support day-to-day showroom operations and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in wholesale fashion sales, showroom and contemporary brands strongly preferred
  • Experience managing specialty account
  • Existing relationships within the fashion wholesale industry strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and sell-through reporting
  • Must be able to work out of our NYC Showroom full time and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel as needed during market and key selling periods.
