Position: Dassault 3DX Trainer

Position Type: Fulltime

Location: Dearborn, MI

Base Salary Range : $100,000 to $130,000 Per Annum

Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

Education: Bachelor s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field.

  • Experience: Prior experience as a trainer or expert user of Dassault Systems software (MagicDraw, Cameo).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of SysML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Failure Mode Avoidance
  • (FMA) methodologies. Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) is highly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent presentation, communication, and instructional skills.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Dassault System certifications in 3DEXPERIENCE or No Magic are preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions (virtual, on-site, or hybrid) on the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform focusing on the application of the RAAML extension for FMA.
  • Course Development: Design and develop training materials, presentations, hands-on exercises, and user guides tailored to different skill levels.
  • Methodology Support: Assists teams in transitioning from document-based FMEA to Model-Based FMA, ensuring alignment with corporate safety standards.
  • Assessment & Certification: Evaluate trainee progress, provide feedback, and administer certification exams if applicable.
  • User Support & Troubleshooting: Assist users in resolving issues related to 3DX applications, workflows, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, internal teams, and Dassault systems representatives to improve training effectiveness.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new features, updates, and advancements in the 3DEXPERIENCE ecosystem.

Generic Managerial Skills If any

  • Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Familiarity with integration of 3DX/MagicDraw with FMA, System Engineering.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with organizational change management
