Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management supports the execution of UGI's enterprise-wide risk management program by conducting risk assessments, developing and enhancing risk frameworks, and coordinating cross-functional risk activities across global business units.
This role serves as a key operational partner to the VP, Global Risk and Compliance, helping to identify, evaluate, and monitor enterprise risks while driving risk awareness and mitigation efforts throughout the organization.
This role will prepare regular risk reporting and dashboards for the VP Global Risk and Compliance and Risk Committees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Risk Governance
  • Support the VP - Global Risk and Compliance in implementing and improving the enterprise-wide risk management strategy, governance structure, policies and procedures, and assessment methodologies.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the enterprise risk management framework, manage on-going risk assessment process recommend enhancements based on evolving business needs and industry best practices, and implement change.
  • On occasion, VP may deputize her/his responsibilities to temporarily take over specific duties or authority.

Risk Management
  • Conduct risk identification, assessment, and monitoring activities for financial, operational, regulatory, and strategic risks across global business units, escalating significant findings to the VP as appropriate.
  • Develop integrated risk management analytical tools, conduct quantitative risk assessments, scenario analyses, stress testing and other strategic modeling initiatives to evaluate potential threats and opportunities.
  • Partner with business unit leaders and Risk Champions to embed risk management practices into day-to-day decision-making processes, and oversight the overall risk framework (improvement and execution) at business unit level.
  • Develop risk analysis tools and accountable for the GRC platform and other simulation software related to the risk management framework, including managing external consultants.

Risk Reporting and Communication
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive risk reports, executive dashboards, and mitigation effectiveness summaries for senior leadership and key stakeholders, and support VP in preparing material on ERM updates to the Board.
  • Communicate risk findings and trends to the VP - Global Risk and Compliance on a regular basis and escalate critical risks in a timely manner.
  • Drive organizational risk awareness initiatives by translating complex risk concepts into accessible communications and contributing to targeted training programs.
  • Develop and sustain close collaboration with business units' Risk Champions, Risk Owners, key process leaders and other functional groups globally.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Risk Champions and junior risk staff to build enterprise-wide risk capability.

Crisis Management and Business Continuity
  • Lead the execution of crisis management and business continuity planning efforts in coordination with business unit and UGI Corporation experts.
  • Own cross-functional responses to significant risk events and emerging threats, helping to coordinate activities that minimize business impact.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Solid understanding of enterprise risk management principles, corporate governance, and industry-specific risks in a global environment to independently evaluate the risk landscape, lead others and make recommendations with authority.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated experience assessing risks across multiple business units and evaluating risk interrelationships. Strong ability to model scenarios and quantify exposures.
  • Proficiency in financial risk analysis, and operational risk mitigation techniques.
  • Ability to monitor emerging enterprise, and global risks and translate regulatory requirements into practical, actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and change management expertise initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present risk concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, or related fields, with at least years in a global or multi-business unit environment preferably within the energy sector
  • CRMA, CPA, CISO, or other equivalent industry-specific risk or compliance certification preferred
  • Ability to travel to business unit locations as required for business operations and industry engagements.
