Shamrock Environmental provides comprehensive environmental services, including contracting and industrial waste management. Our experience, deep expertise, diverse set of capabilities and state of the art equipment and facilities allow us to deliver solutions tailored to each client's requirements.
Our services include emergency response, wastewater treatment, industrial services, waste management, remedial and civil construction, stream and wetland restoration, and FluidCap drilling fluid treatment for natural gas drilling.
Job Description
Perform general manual labor tasks associated with stream
restoration/debris clearing and landfill/remedial project work. You may also
operate off-road dump trucks and small mechanized earthmoving equipment. Your
job activities will also include performing frequent pulling and pushing,
frequent lifting to 45 lbs., occasional up to 75 lbs., use of small hand tools,
and the use of a respirator. During this period you are expected to learn installation
techniques and what it takes (labor, equipment and materials) to complete those
tasks efficiently, safely and to specifications. You will be expected to learn
the surveying techniques we employ to build our projects and the GPS grade
control systems that we own.
In addition, you will:
  • Assist with project scopes
  • Attend site walks for bid preparation
  • Assist with bid preparation
  • Assist with project start up and oversight
  • Assist with construction survey and GPS equipment
  • Assist with completing all project paperwork thoroughly and
    timely
  • Assist with vendors and/or subcontractors on pricing
  • Assist with ensuring and executing that the project is in compliance with all
    applicable laws, safety guidelines, regulations, contract requirements and
    company policies and procedures
  • Assist with maintaining profitability goals for assigned
    projects
  • Maintain the highest of ethical and safety standards at all
    times

Qualifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Large scale hands-on earthwork experience...highways, landfill capping/construction, or, streams restoration
