Job Title: Senior Engagement Manager – Large-Scale Transformation Delivery
Location: Remote (or based in New Jersey) 
Employment Type: Contract (on ZIpstaff W2) | no C2C or 1099

About the Opportunity
ZipStaff is seeking a highly experienced Senior Engagement Manager to lead large-scale, high-risk transformation and delivery engagements for a major enterprise technology services organization.
This is a senior delivery leadership role responsible for multi-workstream programs, engagement governance, stakeholder alignment, financial oversight, and mentoring other Engagement Managers. The ideal candidate brings deep experience running complex, cross-functional, and often multi-partner engagements with full accountability for outcomes.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead large-scale, high-risk engagements with multiple workstreams, ensuring strategic alignment, quality, and future account growth.
  • Own end-to-end engagement governance, including timeline, scope, risk, change management, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
  • Provide comprehensive project oversight with strong focus on governance, stakeholder alignment, quality checks, and full accountability.
  • Drive transformation execution thought leadership with customers during periods of ambiguity or conflict.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-geo, cross-functional, and partner relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to drive collaboration and customer agreement on proposed solutions.
  • Lead delivery teams (often in collaboration with services partners) throughout complex programs.
  • Coach and mentor junior Engagement Managers (Senior EMs, EMs, and Associate EMs) and provide leadership on large, complex projects.
  • Partner with Sales Account Teams, partners, and customers to understand challenges, value drivers, and engagement goals.
  • Align deliverables to customer outcomes and apply structured delivery methodologies (including Now Create or equivalent frameworks).
  • Identify gaps between actuals and plan of record, propose solutions, and drive resolution.
  • Mentor Customer Outcomes or Partner team members to achieve engagement deliverables and customer results.

Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in engagement management, program delivery, or large-scale transformation leadership.
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-workstream, high-risk enterprise engagements.
  • Strong experience owning engagement governance, scope, risk, change, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, resolve conflict, and drive alignment in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring other Engagement Managers or delivery leads.
  • Strong background working with sales/account teams, partners, and end customers.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience with structured delivery methodologies (Now Create, or comparable frameworks such as PMI, MSP, or consulting delivery models).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in enterprise technology services, cloud transformation, or large SI/consulting environments.
  • Prior experience leading multi-partner or multi-geo delivery engagements.
  • Background supporting Customer Outcomes or long-term customer success models.
