Job description

Job Summary:
Xceed is a growing employee-owned IT company that provides IT support and services to businesses throughout North Carolina and the US. They are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide advanced support, lead projects, and consult with small-to-midsize business clients.
Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for desktops, servers, networks, cloud services, and cybersecurity
• Lead and execute infrastructure and cloud projects (migrations, deployments, upgrades)
• Build trusted relationships with clients through exceptional service and technical leadership
• Manage and support environments built on Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure AD
• Use RMM and PSA tools like for monitoring, automation, and ticketing
• Document systems, configurations, and SOPs
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge and process improvements
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT support, systems administration, or MSP work
• Strong technical foundation in: Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure AD
• Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP
• Network configuration and troubleshooting (firewalls, VPNs, VLANs)
• Desktop and application support (Windows/macOS)
• Experience managing and delivering IT projects
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• A proactive, self-starting mindset with a customer-first attitude
• Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting
Preferred:
• Experience with VoIP platforms (e.g., 3CX, RingCentral)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools (EDR, MFA, compliance frameworks, SIEM)
• Experience with cloud migrations, backup solutions, or SaaS integration
