Job description

Allied Insurance Group is looking for ambitious, coachable people who want to build a professional career in insurance sales.


Previous insurance experience is not required.


This opportunity is specifically designed for someone who:


is new to the insurance industry;

is not currently insurance licensed;

has approximately one year or less of insurance experience;

is transitioning from another sales or customer-facing career;

or has the drive and communication ability to succeed in sales but has never been given professional insurance training.


Allied will provide structured training designed to help the right candidate progress from Insurance Sales Trainee to Licensed Personal Lines Producer.


You will learn the fundamentals of Florida homeowners insurance, personal-lines products, sales conversations, quoting systems, customer discovery, objection handling, follow-up, CRM usage, compliance, and Allied's sales process.


Candidates who are not currently licensed will be expected to obtain the required Florida insurance license within the established training and licensing period.


This is not simply a classroom-training position.


Our goal is to develop people who can eventually become productive professional insurance producers capable of advising prospects, presenting solutions, handling objections, closing business, and building long-term careers within Allied.


We are looking much more heavily at attitude, learning ability, work ethic, communication, resilience, coachability, and sales potential than at previous insurance experience.

Responsibilities

During the Training and Licensing Stage

Complete all assigned insurance licensing coursework and examinations within established deadlines.

Participate fully in Allied's structured producer training program.

Learn Florida homeowners, flood, auto, umbrella, and other relevant personal-lines insurance fundamentals.

Learn Allied's CRM, phone, quoting, and agency-management systems.

Complete product-knowledge assessments and certifications.

Participate in sales role-playing and mock customer conversations.

Learn proper customer discovery techniques.

Learn how to explain insurance concepts in clear, everyday language.

Practice objection handling, follow-up, proposal presentation, and closing.

Participate in call reviews, coaching sessions, and performance feedback.

Demonstrate consistent attendance, preparation, professionalism, and progress.


After Required Licensing and Sales Certification

Contact prospective insurance customers by phone, text, email, and approved communication channels.

Respond promptly to assigned sales opportunities.

Conduct customer discovery conversations.

Gather accurate information required for insurance quoting.

Prepare quotes through approved Allied and carrier systems.

Explain insurance options clearly and accurately within licensing authority.

Present insurance recommendations and confidently ask for the business.

Handle objections professionally.

Follow up consistently with prospects.

Maintain an organized sales pipeline.

Document all activity accurately in Allied's approved systems.

Identify appropriate opportunities for Home, Flood, Auto, Umbrella, and other personal-lines products.

Continue participating in sales training, coaching, call reviews, and professional development.


Requirements

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Authorized to work in the United States.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Genuine interest in building a career in professional sales.

Willingness and ability to obtain the required Florida insurance license within Allied's established licensing period.

Comfortable working in a performance-based sales environment.

Comfortable communicating with prospective customers by telephone.
