Intelligence Consulting Enterprise Solutions, INC. is looking for an IT Support Technician
Description:
Join ICES on a new contract impacting national security IT Support Technician. This position is located in Springfield, VA. The positionrequires an active/current TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as needed.This mid-level IT Support Technician role supports mission-critical IT operations by delivering responsive and technically proficient support for test workstation and infrastructure configurations.
As an IT Support Technician, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties:
  • Serve as a primary, responsive IT point of contact for all test workstation and infrastructure support needs
  • Support the reconfiguration of test suites and workstations to enable rapid transitions between overlapping or back-to-back test requirements
  • Coordinate with program office staff and IT service contractor teams to fulfill operational IT support tasks
  • Apply broad working knowledge of organizational IT policies, responsibilities, and processes to accomplish required IT functions
  • Contribute to moderately complex aspects of IT projects and technical operations
  • Develop and utilize advanced technical concepts, tools, and methodologies to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and implement effective technical solutions
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior-level IT support personnel
  • Report to a manager or head of unit/department and maintain effective communication regarding tasking and escalation
  • Perform work independently and collaboratively, depending on task complexity and project needs
  • Seek guidance when encountering new, undefined, or unstructured tasks or challenges
Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance: TS/SCI with willingness to undergo a polygraph.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Science, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Equivalent years of experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 4-7 years in IT support or systems-related functions.A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree.
Demonstrated experience providing IT support to U.S. Government agencies or contractors.
