Amazon is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the development of an AI agent for ads new ad products that leverage AI to help customers find and discover new products and engage with brands and sellers on Amazon.
In this role, you will manage complex technical programs that span multiple VP-level organizations. You will work across teams to align on project requirements, create work back plans, define API contracts, and manage strategic communications with executive stakeholders


This is a leadership position that requires an ability to earn trust with stakeholders across diverse disciplines including engineering, product, operations, legal, sales, UX, and marketing. You must be a highly-collaborative team player capable of inspiring teams to innovate and deliver results against challenging timelines.
Key job responsibilities
* Work with teams across engineering, product, operations, legal, UX, sales, and marketing to define requirements and deliver complex ad products that leverage generative AI.
* Lead daily stand-ups, track progress against key milestones, and lead technical conversations.
* Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from early career university hires to senior executives.
* Represent the team in conversations and debates related to complex decisions, trade-offs, and solutions.
* Build relationships and manage by influence in a matrix organization to solve complex AI problems against tight timelines.
* Mentor senior and Principal TPMs and serve as a role model across the organization on TPM best practices (e.g., status reports, workback plans, executive communications).
