Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. is a growing manufacturing enterprise supporting customers across aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial markets. Our companies operate throughout North America and rely on technology to support production, quality, engineering, customer service, and business operations.
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This role supports multiple business units and locations, helping ensure employees have reliable access to the systems, tools, and technology they need to succeed.
The IT Support Specialist provides technical support and systems administration across a multi-site manufacturing organization. This position supports desktop environments, servers, networks, cloud-based systems, Microsoft 365, and business applications while working closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and managed service providers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technology professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues, supporting end users, and gaining exposure to a broad range of infrastructure and cloud technologies.
What You’ll Do
  • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple locations and business units.
  • Manage helpdesk tickets and prioritize requests based on business needs.
  • Support Windows desktop and server environments.
  • Assist with Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
  • Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Assist with network infrastructure including DNS, DHCP, firewalls, Wi-Fi, routing, and VLANs.
  • Configure and support printers, copiers, and print server environments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers to resolve technical issues.
  • Assist with cloud migration and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation, hardware inventories, and support procedures.
  • Provide remote and onsite support to users across multiple locations.
What We’re Looking For
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of progressive IT support, desktop support, or systems administration experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and VLANs.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as aerospace or defense.
  • Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other ERP platforms.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or business reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting engineering or design software.
  • Linux administration experience.
Work Environment
This role supports multiple business units and locations and may require occasional travel to company sites, including Apple Valley and Ontario. Work is primarily performed in an office environment with regular collaboration across finance, operations, and executive leadership teams.
