Job Summary
Summary:
The "Contracts Manager" will be based in Fontana, Ca reporting to the VP of Operations.
This role serves as liaison between commercial and legal organizations. Enforce contract management process and manage coordination meetings. Comprehend and interpret business impact of legal resolutions and hold up contract negotiations as required. Ensure all required approvals are received and documented for every contract. Executes and provides input to functional goals, processes, and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, prepare, review, edit and negotiate all types of contracts, including manufacturing service agreements, design service agreements, ancillary agreements, statements of work and quality agreements.
  • Coordinate with legal on developing reporting and KPIs.
  • Performs contract assessments to identify risk and provide detailed investigation and resolution help to balance business needs with exposure to risk.
  • Work with Flex business and the attorneys to identify, address and obtain legal aid for contract issues.
  • Meet with customers and businesses to negotiate contract terms.
  • Provide advice and guidance to the clients relating to contract generation.
  • Assist with training initiatives (including onboarding).
  • Identifying required approvals for contracts (based on existing procedures), Assisting sales teams with obtaining approvals in Flex's online contract lifecycle management system. Assist with contract hand-off process for larger customers.
  • Develop and conduct process for review of contract terms including contract review for updates/weaknesses.
  • Provide help and advice on contract process and other business questions.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work with business or operations to identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes.
  • Maintain intranet site with updated legal resources.
  • Assist with presentations, legal updates, and news alerts.

Qualifications:
  • Functional knowledge, education background or relevant working experience required.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc).
  • Demonstrates functional, people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Demonstrates detailed expertise in complex functional area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas.
