Title: IT Project Manager
Location: Orange County, CA (Hybrid)
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm
Type: Contract to hire
Pay rate: $60-65/hr
We are seeking a collaborative and organized IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional technology and business systems projects from planning through implementation. This role will partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions that improve business processes, enhance system performance, support compliance, and drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead IT and business systems projects from initiation through deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, status reports, and executive updates.
  • Gather business requirements, document workflows, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and system owners to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Manage system implementations, integrations, upgrades, data migrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live planning, training coordination, and post-launch support.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change requests while ensuring effective stakeholder communication.
  • Support IT governance, documentation, security, compliance, and audit readiness throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of IT project management experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or technology initiatives.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects involving internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid, or SDLC project methodologies.
  • Experience with system implementations, integrations, data migration, infrastructure, or security projects preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Asana, Teams, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication, documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, CPG, or other regulated industries is a plus.
  • PMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications are preferred but not required.
