General Summary:
We have an opportunity in our Global IT Operations team for an experienced, intelligent, and motivated IT Manager who is enthusiastic about data center and/or Facilities-IT design, deployment, and operations management. This position interacts heavily with Facilities/Construction (non-IT) teams and traditional IT teams across Qualcomm's global landscape.
As a member of our global team, you will manage resources associated with existing and new data centers and IT rooms globally from Atlanta, Georgia. You will play a critical role in maintaining monitoring systems, uptime, performance, and capacity planning.
Bring your proven track record operating Mission Critical IT spaces to our fast-paced, highly collaborative team. We hold ourselves to high standards and take pride in our work. You should be dedicated to excellence, have a strong sense of personal responsibility, and be self-driven.
This role is not remote and requires full-time onsite work in Atlanta, GA (5 days per week).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) OR
  • Bachelor's degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 5+ years IT-relevant experience OR
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 10+ years IT-relevant experience

Provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, implementation, optimization, and operations of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) spaces, systems, and functions that support company business processes and technical information system platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Analysis, selection, and modification of IT Infrastructure Management systems and software applications.
  • Managing individuals involved in the design and installation of networked IT Infrastructure systems.
  • Providing direction for efforts to protect the company's data, tools, and information systems.
  • Ensuring infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.

Subject matter expertise required in ICT spaces and standards, IT Security, Operations, and Project Management. Coordinates delivery of shared IT & Facilities Capabilities & Services to IT and Business Unit user groups to ensure uninterrupted IT service. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 6+ years of IT-related work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
8+ years of IT-related work experience without a Bachelor's degree.
• 2+ years of experience leading projects/programs.

$118,800.00 - $178,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
