This role is for a hands-on technical leader who brings expert-level insight into digital experience monitoring, infrastructure observability, and strong understanding of incident resolution. You combine strong ITIL discipline, continuous improvement methodologies, project management capability, and broad technical exposure across some of the typical Infrastructure domain areas of OS, cloud, virtualization, security, and networking.

Main Objective:
Supervise and support Arthrex IT Infrastructure Services and assigned IT Infrastructure teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and mentorship of IT team to include assigned Global Infrastructure Analyst team members.
  • Act as point of technical contact for local business departments.
  • Meet regularly with other Infrastructure Leadership to assure consistency and efficiency in the department.
  • Manage projects and ensures task deadlines are met.
  • Oversee the support, maintenance, and administration of assigned Infrastructure Services and develop and implement process to assess assets regularly.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for systems and platforms which are applicable to the supervised team.
  • Maintain high performance on assigned group SLAs.
  • Assist in long-term IT strategy, including investigation of new systems and planning of upgrades.
  • Assist in the preparation of infrastructure department and team budgets.
  • Manage assigned departmental, assigned enterprise-wide initiatives and other technology projects.
  • Meet regularly with IT and non-IT departments to solicit feedback on needs and projects.
  • Maintain high availability standards for infrastructure and critical system resources.
  • Enhance and maintain global disaster recovery and high availability plans, procedures, training and testing.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships, manage the purchase of hardware and software.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5 + years of relevant work experience required
  • Experience supporting and managing IT infrastructure required
  • 2 years leadership experience in IT Infrastructure, including some combination of direct supervision, team lead, or project management responsibilities preferred
  • Hands-on experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure system design, implementation, and support is preferred. This experience in a manufacturing environment or medical device/pharmaceutical company is preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Traing
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Expert-level knowledge of digital experience (DEX), infrastructure, and/or application monitoring systems is required; experience with LogicMonitor and/or Nexthink are a strong plus
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL core domains of Incident and Configuration Management applied operationally. Experience at the governance and/or enablement level is a strong plus.
  • Strong project management skills (PMP certification a plus)
  • Technical background with exposure to various Operating System, Public Cloud, Virtualization, Security and/or Networking Technologies; certifications are a plus
  • Ability to work hands-on while also contributing to the definition of standards, best practices, and operational guidelines
