The IT Infrastructure Analyst, plays a critical role in connecting business stakeholders, processes, and technology to drive organizational improvement. This position is responsible for understanding business needs, translating requirements into actionable solutions, and supporting major technology initiatives. The IT Infrastructure Analyst enables efficiency and innovation by bridging the gap between technical teams and business objectives.

The IT Infrastructure Analyst will:
  1. Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  2. Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, workflows, and user stories.
  3. Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications, including considerations for infrastructure, integration, performance, and scalability.
  4. Support major initiatives that span business systems, digital platforms, and underlying technology environments, ensuring alignment with infrastructure standards and capabilities, including:
    1. ERP modernization and cloud migration
    2. CRM/customer portal implementations
    3. IoT and Industrial IoT connected-equipment technologies
    4. Manufacturing execution system (MES) enhancements
    5. Product configuration and order-to-delivery improvements
  5. Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to help define scope, timelines, and milestones.
  6. Facilitate user acceptance testing and support operational readiness, rollout, and adoption efforts.
  7. Work with data teams to define reporting requirements and validate data.
  8. Act as a liaison between business functions and IT delivery teams focusing on scalable, secure, and supportable solutions.
  9. Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to understand system architecture, dependencies, and operational considerations.

The ideal candidate should have/be:
  1. Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
  2. Foundational understanding of enterprise IT environments, including infrastructure or cloud platforms
  3. Experience with ERP, CRM, or related enterprise business systems and platforms
  4. Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  6. Ability to identify, document, and communicate non-functional requirements such as availability, performance, reliability, and scalability expectations in support of business initiatives.
  7. Ability to consider and document security, risk, and operational readiness impacts as part of requirements and solution planning.

Education and Experience
  • 3 years of Business Analyst or IT-related experience, with exposure to IT administration or enterprise technology environments
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or complex engineered-to-order environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred; experience considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, networking, identity, or infrastructure services
  • Interest in developing technical skills in infrastructure or cloud engineering
  • Experience working with infrastructure or operations teams
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks
  • Exposure to Industrial IoT (IIoT), cloud platforms, or core IT services (e.g., identity, connectivity, monitoring, or data analytics tools such as Power BI)
