Job description

Responsibilities & Requirements

Utilizing agile and other applicable frameworks as a guide, IT Analyst I team members work as part of a collaborative team to solve customer issues and support mission-critical healthcare applications and systems. The IT Analyst I utilizes analytical thinking to understand and document new requirements and workflows with the goal of maximizing the value created for their customers. The IT Analyst I participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, development, and test and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Provide prompt support of customer issues, identifying the root cause and developing creative solutions to correct application problems. Consistently utilizes critical thinking and analytic abilities in seeking and resolving issues.
  • Provide support for assigned applications by maintaining vendor recommended application version
  • Maintain server health through patching, reboots, and supported software versions
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide off-hours application support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational needs, risks and requirements of projects and enhancements. Gather, document, and analyze requirements (business, data, and integration) and workflow processes.
  • Participate in the design process and complete the assigned tasks for development and unit/integration testing
  • Develop and maintain application support documentation. Educate end-users and team members as needed.

Education and Experience 

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience required
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Obtain applicable certifications within 1 year of hire, when required.
