Job description

TACG is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Helpdesk Data Analyst to provide user access management and data analysis support for a Department of Defense logistics information system in Beavercreek, Ohio. This hybrid role is responsible for processing system access requests, troubleshooting user access issues, tracking service requests, maintaining performance metrics, and providing analytical support to internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional customer service, and experience supporting logistics or information systems within a Department of Defense or U.S. Air Force environment.

This position requires U.S. Citizenship for consideration.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Process new user access requests in accordance with established procedures while meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics.
  • Review, validate, and submit completed system access packages for security approval.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user account access requests.
  • Track and maintain user access requests using internal tracking systems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding system access, account status, and support requests.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and support operational decision-making.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and documentation for management and stakeholders.
  • Monitor workflow performance and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with security personnel and cross-functional teams to resolve user access issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security requirements, and customer service standards.
  • Support additional help desk and data analysis functions as assigned.

Essential Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Security Clearance
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Education and Certifications:
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; or five (5) years of equivalent experience
  • Required Experience and Skills:
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience supporting U.S. Air Force or Department of Defense logistics, maintenance, or supply operations
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience supporting Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) or similar logistics applications
    • Previous experience supporting help desk operations or user account administration
    • Experience preparing metrics, reports, and executive briefings
    • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance reporting
    • Familiarity with Air Force logistics business processes
