The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Inventory Administrator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Replenishing and transferring inventory from the warehouse to the Factory Service Center (FAC) while maintaining full inventory traceability including revision levels, lot numbers, and expiration dates

  • Monitoring inventory consumption trends, maintaining accurate inventory balances, and performing inventory adjustments and cycle counts as needed

  • Supporting production and repair operations by labeling, stocking, counting, and transacting inventory within Oracle/RSO systems

  • Researching inventory discrepancies, resolving inventory-related issues, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Buyer/Planner, Warehouse, Quality, and Purchasing to support operational efficiency and prevent stock outages

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED or higher from an accredited institution AND two (2) to four (4) years of experience working with inventory management, inventory transactions, material distribution, or warehouse operations in a private, public, government, or military environment

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds using equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, ladders, or walkie stackers

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime as required

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience using Oracle, RSO, or other ERP/inventory management systems

  • Experience performing inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies

  • Experience documenting work instructions or process improvements

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer-focused mindset

In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities.
