Position Overview

Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team. This full-time remote position allows for flexibility while providing essential therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their mental health challenges and achieve emotional well-being.

This remote role enables you to work from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of our vibrant team. Utilizing modern telehealth platforms, you will engage with clients as you conduct virtual counseling sessions, ensuring consistent and meaningful support. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and stress-related issues through clinical interviews and standardized evaluation tools.
  • Facilitate engaging one-on-one counseling sessions using a variety of therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, tailored to each client's needs.
  • Provide couples and family therapy aimed at improving communication, resolving conflicts, and enhancing relationship dynamics among family members.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include actionable goals and interventions designed to promote healing and personal growth.
  • Offer immediate crisis intervention strategies to assist clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, empowering them with coping mechanisms and resources for ongoing support.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including documented assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes, while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  • Stay consistently informed about the latest developments in the counseling field, ensuring best practices are implemented in client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients encompass a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational discord, and emotional distress. As an LPC at our center, you will be instrumental in providing therapeutic services to help clients navigate these issues, fostering an environment of understanding, acceptance, and effective change.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in providing individual and group therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish meaningful rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits
