Compensation:

$110,000 - $220,000 yearly


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
  • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process
  • Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
  • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings
  • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
  • High-net-worth divorce experience (business interests, real property portfolios, trusts/complex financials)
  • Experience working with public figures / privacy-sensitive clients
  • Trial experience or meaningful evidentiary hearing track record
  • Ability to support firm growth through process improvement and team development

Qualifications:
  • Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
  • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
  • Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
  • Active California Bar license in good standing
  • 5+ years California family law experience (high-asset + contested custody required)
  • Demonstrated litigation experience (contested hearings, strong motion practice; trial experience preferred)
  • Strong legal writing skills (declarations and persuasive narrative building are essential)
  • High emotional intelligence, strong boundaries, and professionalism under pressure
  • Organized and accountable in a remote environment
