Job description

General Purpose:  

We are seeking a Modern Workplace Analyst to join our growing information technology team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the workstation environment, supporting efficiency, automation, and risk reduction. Based at our corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ, you will operate remote management tools, patch systems, package software, and maintain productivity tooling. 

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually

Location: This position is based out of the Troon corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule, requiring at least 3 days working in office per week.

Essential Duties: 

  • Monitor and manage patch deployment across Windows and macOS.  
  • Maintain update rings, maintenance windows, and deployment schedules. 
  • Perform vulnerability remediation through patches and configuration changes. 
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory and configuration inventory. 
  • Support annual hardware and operating system lifecycle projects. 
  • Support an Azure-first, o365 productivity environment with an automation-first mindset (E-mail, OneDrive, SharePoint). 
  • Perform other IT support tasks as required. 

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent practical experience (internships, coursework, or relevant roles). 
  • One to three years of IT related experience (help desk, system administration, compliance support, or similar roles.) 

Certificates/Licenses: 

  • Workstation related certifications such as Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate. 
  • General IT knowledge certifications such as ITIL v4, A+, Net+, Microsoft MS-900.  

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft cloud offerings, desktop, and server operating systems. 
  • Familiarity with security and productivity best practices in a business environment. 
  • Exposure to scripting or automation tools, such as PowerShell or Python. 
  • Analytical and holistic thinking to solve unique problems. 
  • Clear communication skills and an ethical approach to decision making. 
  • Strong willingness to learn and collaborate.
