We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Bookkeeper to support our growing operations, reporting to our experienced bookkeeper and responsible for recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting daily accounting operations.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions in accounting software
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Maintain invoices, receipts, and expense reports
  • Assist with payroll processing
  • Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
  • Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments
  • Assist with audits and preparation of supporting documentation
  • Assist bookkeeper and leadership with administrative accounting tasks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or associate degree in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
  • Prior internship or office experience preferred but often not required

Work Hours & Benefits

Shifts are currently 7:30am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Depending on skill and experience, the salary is $20 - $25 per hour. Healthcare benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), paid holidays and personal time off, as well as sick leave and 401k included.
