Ensuring Chart's Success...

Chart's project management group is critical to delivering our products on time and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.  The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of a project from contract award to completion.  This is a hybrid role and can be based in any of these locations:  New Prague, Minnesota, Tulsa, Oklahoma or Theodore, Alabama.

What Will You Do?
  • Main customer & internal interface point for projects
  • Monitor/Control project schedule and costs; mitigate variances
  • Review, understand and interpret customer specifications and contract requirements
  • Draft, review and issue Project Change Orders
  • Communicate project status to customer and internal stake holder
  • Lead and oversee in-house Design, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Installation phases
  • Provide technical guidance and problem resolution
  • Coordinate material purchasing requirements, develop requisitions, oversee vendor progress
  • Execute customer invoices and follow-up on overdue invoices
  • Follow company procedures with regards to process & procedures
  • Maintain Project Management Tools and Best Practices
  • Prepare and present management reviews of assigned projects
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and provide guidance to their professional development

  • Experience managing vendor relations and expectations
  • Experience in leadership and team building
  • Management level communication skills
  • Experience working with Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) and or international equivalents a plus
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, Quickbase, experience with JD Edwards a plus
