Accylerate is seeking an Associate IT Security Analyst who will monitor and advise on information security issues to ensure proper internal IT security controls for an agency. The role involves coordinating IT security projects, responding to incidents, and developing security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Coordinates and executes IT security related projects for the agency.
โ€ข Coordinates response to information security incidents.
โ€ข Develops and publishes Information Security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines based on knowledge of best practices and compliance with Commonwealth IT Security policies, standards, and guidelines.
โ€ข Conducts campus-wide data classification assessment and security audits and manages remediation plans.
โ€ข Collaborates with IT management, Internal Audit, and client to manage security vulnerabilities.
โ€ข Creates, manages, and maintains user security awareness.
โ€ข Conducts security research and keeps abreast of latest security issues.
โ€ข Prepares IT security documentation, including department policies and procedures, agency notifications, Web content, and alerts.
