Job Description:
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, performs tasks involving the dispensing, distribution, charging of drugs. Is involved in proper storage, packaging, labeling and record keeping associated with drugs. Pharmacy interns will also be mentored and learn to become a clinical pharmacist.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Must hold a current and unrestricted Ohio Pharmacy Intern License within 90 days of hire and maintain thereafter.
Physical Requirements:
1. Visual acuity of 20/20 or corrected to 20/20 including color vision when applicable.
2. Ability to hear (with or without aides).
3. Ability to orally communicate.
4. Good manual dexterity.
5. Ability to push, pull, roll, and transfer/lift 50 pounds occasionally.
6. Ability to stand, walk constantly.
7. Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Utilizes effective communication to provide excellent customer services.
• Actively participates in performance improvement activities as it relates to job duties.
• Demonstrates effective and culturally appropriate communications.
