Job Description:
Right Track Janitorial Aide
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
PURPOSE
In this position you will be expected to learn and demonstrate the daily cleaning tasks and proper cleaning methods under the general supervision of the Maintenance Technician and Employment Coordinator. Assume daily responsibility for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of assigned areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assume responsibility for effective performance of assigned Janitorial Aide Intern functions Daily/weekly completion of janitorial aide checklist Adhere to all cleaning protocols, safety rules and regulations Clean and sanitize common areas of assigned property including (but not limited to): lobby, community room, resource room, conference room, laundry room, elevator, hall floors, stairways, community and staff kitchens, as instructed. Empty trash in staff offices Clean, sanitize and stock public restrooms Adhere to assigned work schedule Inform Maintenance Technician of any cleaning supply and equipment concerns Carry out all tasks in a manner consistent with the Right Track Standards of Participant Conduct Perform other duties as assigned Successfully complete four weeks of janitorial aide supported employment training
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Right Track Work Readiness Training
  • Ability to walk, stand, lift, bend for long periods of time
  • Ability to adhere to cleaning and safety protocols and regulations
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently with general guidance from Maintenance Technician
