We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people's lives and by scaling the future of logistics. This is a fast-moving, cross-functional team where creativity, customer empathy, and analytical thinking come together to support Zipline's growth.

The Role

We're looking for a Marketing Intern who wants to see consumer marketing in action during one of the busiest and most exciting moments of the year: the holiday season!

  • Support the planning and execution of Zipline's holiday marketing and merchandising moments across lifecycle, app, and growth channels.
  • Help coordinate campaign work by organizing timelines, tracking next steps, gathering inputs, and keeping launch materials up to date.
  • Support marketing operations needs, including coordinating with vendors, tracking deliverables, organizing assets, and helping ensure key materials are ready on time.
  • Assist with building and documenting repeatable playbooks for seasonal campaigns, holiday launches, and marketing workflows.
  • Support campaign setup and QA in marketing tools, which may include CMS, app merchandising, email, push, or in-app messaging platforms.
  • Contribute to customer-facing marketing materials by drafting copy, generating creative ideas, testing AI-assisted content workflows, or helping prepare campaign briefs.
  • Help the team organize performance learnings so future seasonal moments can be planned and improved more efficiently.
  • Learn how a cross-functional marketing team brings high-priority campaigns to life across Product, Creative, Analytics, Engineering, Commercial, and Operations.
What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, ideally in marketing, communications, business, consumer products, or a related field. Candidates must have completed at least the second year of their undergraduate studies.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly, organize information, and adapt tone for different audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with comfort managing multiple moving pieces, deadlines, and project inputs.
  • Curiosity about how consumer marketing works across channels like email, push, in-app, paid, and merchandising.
  • Comfort learning new tools and systems, including content management systems, campaign platforms, spreadsheets, or AI-assisted workflows.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and ability to communicate clearly with teammates across Marketing, Creative, Product, Analytics, Engineering, Commercial, and Operations.
  • Based in or able to work onsite in South San Francisco for the duration of the internship.
What Else You Should Know
