Job description

Ignite Digital Services seeks an experienced Analyst to independently execute business analysis, data analytics, and decision-support work infrastructure in support of a large federal enterprise multi-domain data ecosystem. This role provides autonomy and wide analytical scope in support of mission-critical insights and decision-making, while delivering within a larger team project management environment.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions and produce detailed requirement documentation.ย ย 
  • Develop dashboards, models, and analytical workflows.ย ย 
  • Perform advanced statistical, predictive, or exploratory analysis.ย ย 
  • Develop business requirements documents, user stories, and detailed process diagrams.ย ย 
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose solution approaches.ย ย 
  • Evaluate alternatives and build cost-benefit/risk models.ย ย 
  • Produce decision briefs and clearly communicate technical findings.ย ย 
  • Contribute to data governance, security, and automation initiatives.ย 
  • Partner with technical teams and program leadership to align on actionable insights.ย 

Required Skillsย 

  • Strong SQL, Python, and analytical modeling skills.ย ย 
  • Experience with dashboards and BI tools (e.g.ย Qlik,ย Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, MS365/Power Platform).ย ย 
  • Experience performing quantitative, predictive, or decision analysis.ย ย 
  • Independent client-facing communication,ย requirements facilitationย andย structured problem-solving.ย 
  • Ability to synthesize complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.ย 

Desired Skillsย 

  • Experience with cloud analytics environments (e.g.ย AWS,ย Azure, GCP).ย ย 
  • Experience supporting federal clients or mission environments.ย ย
