The NIWC Atlantic Non-traditional Sensors, Effects, Communications, & Technology (NSECT) Operations Support Specialist supports IPT Leadership and Team Leads through:

  • Tracking and maintaining IPT-level task trackers, deliverables, and communications.
  • Coordinating meetings and visits including external partners, senior leadership, sponsors, or as directed by the IPT Lead and IPT Tech Lead
  • Taking meeting notes, as directed by the IPT Lead and IPT Tech Lead
  • Tracking and supporting material acquisition procurements. Create and maintain an IPT material inventory.
  • Assisting IPT Leadership with Knowledge Management tasks.

The successful candidate has an eagerness to learn about cybersecurity, quantum sensors, electronic warfare, optical communications, and radio frequency communications.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Apps, especially Excel, Planner, Power BI, and SharePoint.
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to communicate in both written and verbal format to stakeholders
  • Ensures problems are communicated from teams up to leadership, and vice versa.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI Preferably, S minimum

Salary: 65k+

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
